This is an inherited tin filled with lots of sewing and mending supplies. Some of the patches and fasteners are in an unused unopened condition and date back to the 1940’s or 1950’s when people didn’t buy so many clothes. They patched and re-patched to save money. Some of the threads are wooden spools with the paper still on. Some of the packages are opened and partly used. Names like Empco, Coats & Clark’s, Bondo, Penn. The pinking shears are made in Japan. The larger scissors are WISS Inlaid. The smaller scissors are Hoffritz.
There are also other oddball items like a few vintage patches, buttons, and sundries.
The tin is vintage Swersey’s candy tin.
Please see each photo and ask any questions you may have. I’m happy to answer and send you closer photos of any item. There are too many things to do complete photos in one shot. Items are sold as-is. I don’t do returns but want you to be happy with the transaction.
The tin is crammed too full to shut with every thing in it so some items will be wrapped and included in the box.
Due to the weight of over 3 lbs. I will ship in a medium rate box with bubble wrap and packing peanuts.
