Deadline first reported that the show may be ending with a movie-length episode after its fourth season.
Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt will be ending after four seasons – and possibly a movie.
Deadline first reported that the people behind the show, including Tina Fey and Robert Carlock, have decided that after the fourth season is the right time for the show to end. BuzzFeed News confirmed the report with a source close to the production. Netflix declined to comment.
However, this doesn’t mean that there is no more Kimmy to enjoy. Season 4 has yet to drop, and when it does it will be split into two parts, with the first six episodes dropping at the end of May.
